Survival: quick answers
How do you get water after the taps stop?
Take bottles and buckets from empty apartments, drain the water heater and boil what you collect. The lasting fix is the valve riser on floor 27: open it with the adjustable wrench and the taps run again. Full answer →
Why can’t I eat some of the food?
Cans and packaged food need a tool. Players were stuck until they found a knife or fork, and can openers turn up in kitchen drawers. Full answer →
Why is my character always tired?
Fatigue rises through the day and the game expects you asleep at night. If you slept through the day, the clock is already late when you wake, so fatigue climbs again quickly. Full answer →
Do zombies respawn after you clear a floor?
Yes. Players who cleared floor 29 and the stairs met new zombies on the way back, and Arthur Hail complains they respawn. Plan each trip as if the floor will fill up again. Full answer →
My front door broke. How do I fix it?
The game asks you to repair the entrance before night. You need screws and a board, which turn up in toolboxes, closets and other apartments. Full answer →
Can you win by just surviving 100 days?
The official page offers waiting for rescue as one of the two ways out, and guide makers call it the hardest on supplies. No recording has reached day 100 yet; the longest we found was at day 25. Full answer →
What happens on days 1 to 4?
Neighbors leave while the lift runs on day 1, the game warns on day 2 that water and power will be cut, and the cut follows within the next days. After that, objectives come from neighbors and locked doors. Full answer →
